For VIMBIO CORP, a company whose lines of business are the ‘design, manufacture, development and marketing of LED lighting products and other electrical, electronic and telecommunications products’ as well as the ‘marketing of healthcare products and personal protective equipment’, quality, respect for the environment, occupational health and safety, and efficient energy management are priority factors that are recognisable in the services it provides to its customers. The principles of our policy are based on respect for our company’s fundamental values, customer satisfaction and a commitment to continuous improvement in our work and processes relating to quality management, the environment, occupational health and energy efficiency.

The quality, environment, health and safety, and energy efficiency policy is established and managed by the company’s management, VIMBIO’s highest management body.

COMMITMENT TO QUALITY, THE ENVIRONMENT, OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY

· Understand and meet the needs and expectations of our customers, as well as the relevant requirements of stakeholders relevant to the quality management system.

· Establish and periodically review quality, environmental, occupational health and safety, and energy management objectives that ensure the continuous improvement of the integrated management system.

· Strict compliance with legislation, current regulations, and applicable requirements, as well as other commitments made by the company.

· Identify internal and external stakeholders relevant to the quality management system and comply with their requirements, as well as understand the context of the organisation and determine its opportunities and risks as a basis for planning actions to address, assume or deal with them.

· Periodically review the effectiveness of the Management System in order to detect weaknesses and take the necessary actions for the continuous improvement of our activities and performance in terms of quality, the environment, occupational health and safety, and energy efficiency.

· Train and raise awareness among all staff in the areas of quality, satisfaction, customer service, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, and energy management.

· Promote and involve the various agents who are directly or indirectly involved in our work in quality, environmental, health and safety, and energy management procedures.

· Develop our designs and work taking into account the environmental aspects of each activity, focusing on the efficient use of energy resources, promoting the use of renewable energies, the use of environmentally friendly and sustainable materials, and the efficient use of water.

· Protect the environment and prevent pollution directly resulting from our work, reducing waste generation and managing its efficiency throughout its life cycle.

· Ensure the prevention of harm to our workers, commit to eliminating hazards and reducing OHS risks by avoiding circumstances that could damage their health, and adopt the general principles required by current Occupational Health and Safety legislation.

· Achieve the full integration of occupational risk prevention into the Management System, so that the various activities are carried out and decisions are made without compromising people’s safety for reasons of productivity or economic gain.

· Ensure that all employees are informed, consulted and involved in matters relating to occupational health and safety.

· Promote the design of sustainable and eco-efficient products, using recyclable materials and extending their useful life, considering improved energy performance as a sign of our commitment to energy efficiency.

· Continuously improve energy performance, directing efforts towards the efficient use of the energy resources necessary for the development of our activities and services, including the acquisition of energy-efficient products and services, in line with our commitments against climate change.

· Create efficient energy habits and uses within our organisation.
